Connor Horan compiled a goal and an assist each to lead the Dutchmen to a 4-1 victory over visiting Keuka, Friday evening at College Park Field.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Union opened the scoring just 26 seconds into the contest as sophomore midfielder Poom Mera scored from close range after Lopez Jr. had his shot blocked by a Wolves' defender.
- Lopez Jr. scored his own goal in the 23rd minute with a curling shot from just outside the 18-yard box into the top left corner of the net. Horan then nodded home a header three minutes later to give the Dutchmen a 3-0 advantage.
- Keuka pulled a goal back in the 43rd to make the score 3-1 before breaking for halftime.
- The lone goal of the second half came in the 53rd minute on a sliding effort from the right side of the box by junior midfielder Yasin Dombayci to put the game out of reach.
- Union out-shot Keuka, 20-10, including a 10-4 advantage in shots on target.

The Dutchmen return to action on Saturday, Sept 1, when they play New Paltz in Saratoga Springs, N.Y. at 6 p.m. (ET).
