SCHENECTADY, N.Y. – The Union College Department of Athletics is very excited to announce a new broadcasting agreement with ESPN that will provide Union hockey fans a great way to watch the Dutchmen and Dutchwomen beginning in 2018-19.
 
The Union men's and women's hockey teams will join ECAC Hockey members in an agreement with ESPN , the direct-to-consumer subscription service that will provide Union an unmatched level of exposure and access to fans throughout the country.
 
Union fans across the country will be able to stream all Union home games and other ECAC Hockey contests through ESPN.com and the redesigned ESPN App, where fans can also access an unparalleled lineup of live sports that includes hundreds of MLB, NHL and MLS games, Grand Slam tennis, Top Rank boxing, PGA Tour golf, college sports, international rugby, cricket, the full library of ESPN Films (including the entire 30 for 30 series) and more for just $4.99 a month. Fans can sign up for the service by visiting https://plus.espn.com/.

"There is already plenty of excitement about our men's and women's hockey programs heading into this season, and ESPN will provide our fans with greater access to our home and ECAC Hockey contests."
 
For Union hockey fans living outside the United States, Union and many other ECAC Hockey schools have also partnered with Stretch Internet to provide video streaming coverage for games this season, giving all fans the same opportunity to watch ECAC Hockey games for $4.99 a month or $2.99 per game. International fans can access the ECAC Hockey video portal at https://portal.stretchinternet.com/ecachockey.
 
In addition, Union has partnered with SIDEARM Sports to provide live audio-only streams for Union hockey games this year to supplement the video option. All home men's and women's hockey home games will be audio streamed live on UnionAthletics.com, while many men's hockey road games will also be streamed online as well. The audio portal is available at https://unionathletics.com/audio and can also be accessed via the teams' schedule pages.
 
Both teams' home openers come on the weekend of October 5-6, when the women host Lindenwood University and the men welcome Army West Point to Messa Rink at the Achilles Center. The teams will also dedicate its new video board before the men's game on Saturday night at 7 p.m.
