Women's Soccer Shuts Out ACPHS 4-0

SCHENECTADY, N.Y. - Union College Emma Schleimer totalled one goal and a pair of assists to lead the Dutchwomen to a 4-0 victory over Albany College of Pharmacy, Sunday afternoon from College Park Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
First-year Bella Dworkin scored from close range to give Union the lead in the fifth minute off a feed from Schleimer. The Dutchwomen doubled their lead in the 12th minute when Linsey Giles headed home a Schleimer corner kick at the far post.

The hosts took a 3-0 lead 2:35 later as Schleimer curled in a shot from the top of the 18-yard box into the top left corner of the net. Amanda Ashmen scored from close range in the 28th minute off an assist from first-year midfielder Erin O'Shea to put the game out of reach.

The Dutchwomen finished the game with a 38-0 advantage in shot, led by Giles who had a carer-high 10 shots, including six on net.
