Dutchwomen Fall at Ithaca, 1-0

ITHACA, N.Y. — After a slow first half and plenty of offensive opportunities for the Dutchwomen to score in the second, the Union College women's soccer team fell, 1-0, at Ithaca College on Friday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

  • Ithaca scored quickly, with Delaney Rutan scoring with a pass from Devon Morris to head it in and give the Bombers the lead going into halftime.

  • With just 25 minutes left in regulation, junior goaltender Alison Sorkenn made a tremendous one-handed diving save on Alex Epifani's shot attempt to score for Ithaca.
