Men's Lacrosse Heads to the Carrier Dome Wednesday

SCHENECTADY, N.Y. – The Union College men's lacrosse team will be taking its game to Syracuse this week, as the Dutchmen host Middlebury College at the Carrier Dome on Wednesday, March 27.

The two teams will face off at the home of Syracuse University for the mid-week matchup starting at noon. It will be Union's first-ever appearance in the Carrier Dome; the Dutchmen last played at Syracuse in April 1980, a few months before the dome's completion.

TICKET INFORMATION: Admission for the game is $10 for adults and $5 for students 18 and under. Fans will be able to enter the facility via Gates A, B and C, while comp tickets and will call will be distributed at Gate B. Gates will open at 11 a.m.

PARKING INFORMATION: Fans can park in the West Campus Lots (Stadium and Standart), which are a few blocks from the facility. Handicapped accessible parking is also available  in the Irving Garage. Parking is $10.

Union and Middlebury have not played since 2004, when the Panthers were coming off their fifth straight appearance in the national championship game and three national titles in four years. The Dutchmen are 17-33 in 50 all-time meetings with the Panthers, dating back to the first matchup in 1950.

Both the Dutchmen and Panthers are receiving votes in this week's United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association Division III National Poll, with Union the top team receiving votes with 29 and Middlebury earning eight votes. Union enters the game with a 5-1 record, while Middlebury is 3-3 so far this season.

For those who cannot make it to Syracuse for the game, Union will be providing live stats and live video for the game. Fans can also follow the action via social media by following Union Athletics on Twitter.
