TROY, N.Y. – The Union College women's tennis team had its postseason hopes dashed with a 7-2 defeat at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute on Wednesday afternoon at the Sharp Tennis Courts.

Union did come away with a pair of singles victories on the day. Junior
Tal Pezzuco earned the Dutchwomen's first point of the day with a 6-2, 2-6, 6-3 victory over Sanjana Surapeneni at first singles, while sophomore
Megan Brown earned a 6-3, 6-4 straight-set win at second singles.
