PAXTON, MASS. – The Dutchmen kept the ball rolling on the gridiron Saturday, topping Anna Maria by a score of 54-7 at AMCAT Field. Union College improves to 2-0 on the season while the AMCATS fall to 0-2.

How It Happened
Union didn't waste any time getting started with its offensive blitz, scoring on its first possession of the game. Bellamy capped off a 50-yard drive with a 10-yard TD to Ross Jr., to put the Dutchmen on the board in the first five minutes of the contest.

The Dutchmen held Anna Maria to three-and-outs on its first three possessions of the game. Union would go on to limit the AMCATS to three plays or less on 10 of their non-scoring drives.

On its second possession, Union was forced to punt for the only time of the game. After that, the Dutchmen scored TD's on five consecutive possessions to carry a 42-0 lead into halftime.

In the second half, Union scored its first safety of the season. After being stopped on fourth and goal at the one-yard line, Union went on defense and
Dante Scott recorded a sack for the safety. The Dutchmen would then go on to add a field goal and another touchdown thanks to a three-yard run by Wallner to take the 54-0 lead.

Anna Maria would end up scoring on a 28-yard pass in the final minutes of the game to erase Union's shutout bid.
