SCHENECTADY, N.Y. – Seniors
Josh Kosack and
Sean Harrison of the Union College men's hockey team had their charitable works recognized in multiple local newspapers last week, as Mike MacAdam of the
Daily Gazette and Tim Wilkin of the
Times Union wrote about the good work Union hockey continues to do in the community.
In MacAdam's feature from November 20, "
If No Hockey, 'Tis Still the Season for Union's Kosack," he details the multiple initiatives achieved recently by team members, including spearheading a on-campus coat drive for Schenectady City Mission and a clothing donation to the county Department of Social Services, as well as the ongoing donation drive to
purchase Christmas presents for children at COCOA House.
Wilkin's piece from November 19, "
Union Hockey Co-Captain Feels the Sting of Lost Season," Kosack explains how he took the disappointment of the 2020-21 season being canceled and directed his passion toward helping others.
