CAMBRIDGE, MASS. – Harvard scored three power-play goals while keeping the Dutchmen scoreless on the man advantage, as the Union College men's hockey team lost 4-1 to the Crimson on Saturday night at the Bright-Landry Hockey Center.
With the loss, Union finishes the regular season with an overall record of 7-23-4 and finishes in 10th place ECAC Hockey with a league record of 5-15-2. The Dutchmen will now face Yale in the first round of the league playoffs.
The Dutchmen started off the game at Harvard scoring first. First-year defenseman
Dylan Anhorn finished off a backdoor play to net his sixth goal of the season at the 9:37 mark of the first period.
Unfortunately, Harvard ended up tying the game just over two minutes later, scoring on a five-minute major power play.
The Crimson scored twice in the second period, including once more on the power play. Harvard then capped off the game with a third power-play goal at the 5:33 mark of the third period.
