Anhorn and Seger named to All-Rookie Team

ALBANY, N.Y. -- Union College men's hockey first-year skaters Dylan Anhorn and Gabriel Seger were named to ECAC Hockey's 2019-20 All-Rookie Team, the conference announced Tuesday.

Seger, a native of Uppsala, Sweden, finished his debut season second on the team in scoring with 22 points, stemming from seven goals and 15 assists. His 22 points also ranked tied for second among first-year forwards in the conference. Down the stretch, Seger recorded 10 points (4g, 6a) in the final 11 games of the season. He scored two game-winners during the year, the OT winner at Princeton on Nov. 16, and the game-winner against Yale in the postseason on March 6.

Anhorn, a native of Calgary, Alberta, was third on the team in scoring with 16 points (6g, 10a) and led the Dutchmen in plus/minus with a +3 rating. Among conference first-year defensemen, Anhorn finished fifth in scoring and tied for third with 46 blocked shots.
