SCHENECTADY, N.Y. – Bob Soules, the Director of the Becker Career Center, was recognized on Friday as the recipient of the Athletics Appreciation Award as part of the Union College Department of Athletics' annual year-end awards.
While the annual awards are routinely revealed during the Senior Awards Ceremony on the weekend prior to graduation, the COVID-19 pandemic has necessitated a virtual process that will give all deserving award winners their own spotlight.
The Athletics Appreciation Award is presented to a member of the Union College community in appreciation of an individual for their service and dedication to the Athletic Department staff and student-athletes. For more than a decade, Bob Soules has served countless numbers of Union student-athletes as the Director of the Becker Career Center. Soules plays a vital role in recruiting student-athletes by meeting with prospective students, and then continues to serve all Union students throughout their four years with help gaining internships and extra-curricular opportunities as well as job-search assistance.
