GENEVA, N.Y. – The Union College women's soccer team took on #6 William Smith College on Saturday afternoon at Coozens Field. The Dutchwomen lost 8-0 to the Herons.

In the first half, William Smith tallied three goals in the first nine minutes of the game to jump out to an early lead.

In the second half, it was more of the same from the Herons. The home team scored five more times in the half, to win the game with a final score of 8-0 over the Dutchwomen.

Union (5-6-2, 2-2-1) will travel to Ithaca tomorrow for an afternoon match up with the Bombers beginning at 2 p.m..
