SCHENECTADY, N.Y. – Colgate University scored four times in the first period to push the Raiders past the Union College women's hockey team, Saturday afternoon at Messa Rink. The Dutchwomen lost 7-1.
The Raiders jumped off to a hot start scoring four times in the first period to jump out to a 4-0 lead. They would tally three more times in the second and third period to lead 7-0 over the Dutchwomen.
With under four minutes to play in the third period. Senior
Grace Heiting scored on the power-play to end the Colgate shut out. She skated down the boards and along the goal line before firing a shot over the glove of the Raider net-minder and into the top corner. This was Heiting's sixth goal of the season. Junior

Olivia Rinzel made 49 saves in the effort. Union went 1-4 on the power-play and was 2-4 on the penalty kill.
