SCHENECTADY, N.Y. – The University of New Hampshire scored three times in the third period to pull away from the Union College women's hockey team Saturday afternoon at Messa Rink. The Wildcats won 4-1.

The Wildcats scored 11 seconds into the third period to grab a 2-1 lead. UNH would score two more times in the period to beat Union 4-1. Union out shot UNH 27-24 in the losing effort. Neither team was able to use the power-plays to their advantage.
First-year goaltender
Sophie Matsoukas stopped 20 shots in the effort.
Union will get back on the road and travel to #10 Harvard on Friday evening, December 3
