About the Dutchwomen:
-The Dutchwomen hit the road for a weekend trip to Quinnipiac and Princeton. This follows a weekend where Union lost both games to conference opponents Clarkson and St. Lawrence.
-The Dutchwomen were out scored 8-1 over the weekend. 
-Sophomore Celeste Beaudoin had the lone goal for the Dutchwomen. It came on the power-play.
-On the road this season, Union is 2-2 on the road this season. Both wins coming against RIT to start the season.

Fresh Faces: 
-The Union College women's hockey team enters the year with 15 players who have never played a collegiate hockey game. 
-Seven sophomores are returning and didn't get to see the ice last year because of the pandemic. 
-Eight first-years will played in their first collegiate games for the Dutchwomen four weeks ago against RIT.

About the #8 Bobcats:
- Quinnipiac will host Union on Friday night. They have yet loss on the season posting an 8-0-2 record top start the season. 
-The Bobcats started off league play with back to back weekend wins against Brown and Yale.
-Junior Sadie Peart has six goals, which tied her for the team lead, eight assists, and 14 points. 

Last Time They Played: 
-Quinnipiac won 6-2 over Union in Hamden, C.T. Herrfort and Ryan scored the goals for the Dutchwomen.

History:
-Union is 1-32-4 against Quinnipiac all time. Union's one win came in the 2019-20 season with a 4-2 win in November.

About the #10 Tigers:
-Princeton has started the season off 2-0, with wins against Yale and Brown. 
-The Tigers are outscoring teams 5-2 over those two games. 
-Senior goalie Rachel McQuigge has a GAA of 1.00 and a save percentage of .964. 
-Junior Maggie Connors has scored three goals in the two games and leads the team with three points.

Last Time They Played: 
-The Tigers beat Union 3-0 in 2020 the last time these teams faced off. Carly Bullock scored twice and Sarah Fillier also potted one too.

History:
-The Dutchwomen are 1-32-1 all time against the Tigers. Union's one win came in the 2013-14 season with a 2-1 win.

Captains: 
-Cassidy Michalicka was named the captain following serving as an assistant captain in the 2019-20 season for the Dutchwomen.  
-Grace Heiting was named a captain for the 2021-22 season.

2019-20 Review: 
The last time Union took the ice was in 2019-20, the Dutchwomen posted their highest finish in the ECAC Hockey standings, placing ninth. The team returns its leading scorer from two years ago, Senior Grace Heiting, who scored six goals with eight assists for 14 points as a sophomore.
