About the Dutchwomen:
-Union returns to league play this weekend when they travel to #9/10 Harvard on Friday and Dartmouth and Saturday. The Dutchwomen look to bounce back after suffering a weekend sweep at the hands of the UNH Wildcats. Union scored once over the weekend, It was first-year Paige Greco's third goal of the season. Sophomore Celeste Beaudoin added to her team lead in points (9) with an assist and first-year Maddie Suitor also added an assist as well. Union is 2-4-0 on the road this season, with wins coming on opening weekend against RIT

About the #9/10 Crimson 
-Harvard is 7-3-0 on the season and have rattled off two straight wins against Brown and UNH. Senior Becca Gilmore leads Harvard in goals with seven, and has chipped in five assists to also lead the team in points with 12. Junior Kristin Della Rovere has tallied seven assists this season and has an assist in each of her last six games. Harvard has split time in the net with Senior Becky Dutton starting in five games and going 4-1 and Junior Lindsay Reed starting in four games for a 2-2 record. 

Last Time We Played: 
-Union and Harvard met back on February 15th, 2020 in Schenectady, N.Y. Harvard topped Union 3-2 that night. Gilmore scored twice for the Crimson including the OT winner. Union's Grace Heiting scored in the game for the Dutchwomen. 

Historically Speaking: 
-Union has a 2-32 record all time against Harvard, and has lost their last five games. Union last beat Harvard in 2017-18 at Messa Rink. 

About the Big Green:
-Dartmouth is 4-6-0 on the season and split a weekend home at home with Saint Anselm. Dartmouth won 2-1 and lost 0-1. Dartmouth is 2-5-0 in league play this season. Senior Gabby Billing has scored four goals to lead the the team.Freshman Laura Fuoco has tallied five assists to lead the team and leads the team in points with seven.Freshman Maggie Emerson has started all 10 games for Dartmouth and has made 266 saves while posting a 4-6 record. 

Last Time We Played: 
-Dartmouth beat Union 2-0 back in 2020 at Messa Rink in Schenectady. Jennifer Costa and Catherine Trevors scored for the Big Green.

Historically Speaking: 
-Union has a 3-29-2 record all time against Dartmouth. Union last won in 2019 at Messa Rink. Dartmouth is averaging 3.93 goals a game against Union, while the Dutchwomen are averaging 1.09 goals in those same games. 

Fresh Faces: 
-The Union College women's hockey team enters the year with 15 players who have never played a collegiate hockey game. Seven sophomores are returning and after not seeing the ice last year because of the pandemic, while eight first-years will played in their first collegiate games for the Dutchwomen in the season opener at RIT.

Captains: 
-Cassidy Michalicka was named the captain following serving as an assistant captain in the 2019-20 season for the Dutchwomen. Classmate Grace Heiting was named a captain for the 2021-22 season as well.
