CASTLETON, V.T. – The Union College men's soccer team beat the Castleton University Spartans 4-2 on Saturday afternoon at Dave Wolk Stadium in Castleton, V.T. The Dutchmen extend their winning streak to three games.

Robbie Michalski scored in the win for the Dutchmen and Junior
Christian Rufo added an assist in the team's 4-2 win over the Spartans.
Union College got on the scoreboard first, following a Spartan's miscue that led to an own goal, just three minutes into the contest. The Dutchmen would then tally twice more to jump out to a 3-0 lead. Goals coming from Michalski in the sixth minute and Richo would score his first of two goals in the 22
nd minute. Castleton cut the Dutchmen lead to 3-1 when Adolphe Alfani scored in the 34
th minute. Union outshot Castleton 9-3 in the first half.
Richo would add his second tally of the game just two minutes into the second half to make the Dutchmen lead 4-1. Jacob Henderson would score in the 66
th minute to give Castleton their second goal, 4-2. The lead would hold there giving the Dutchmen their third straight win of the season.
The Dutchmen (3-1-0) will take on Skidmore College at 7pm on September 17
th, when they look to extend their win streak to four at College Park Field in Schenectady, N.Y.
