Senior Abby Mitty and first-year Rachel Berliner combined for Union's eighth shut out win of the season.

With both teams trading opportunities on the opening couple of minutes, it was Union who struck first. Vassar responded well with back to back shots that Mitty was able to turn away and keep the shut out alive. Vassar out shot Union 5-4 in the half and each team had a corner opportunity.

Vassar continued to up the pressure in the second half and out shot Union 7 to 4 in the second half. Union hung on for the there second win over a Liberty League opponent and improved to 8-1-0 on the season.
