About the Dutchwomen:
- The Dutchwomen welcome in Dartmouth and #7 Harvard to Messa Rink for the final week of the ECAC regular season. Union is lost its two most recent games to #8 Colgate and Cornell. Colgate beat Union 8-0 and and Cornell won 5-3 over Union. Juniors Carmen Merlo and Emily King scored as well as first-year Emma Hebert. Senior Grace Heiting leads the team with eight goals. Sophomore Celeste Beaudoin leads the team with 10 assists on the season. Beaudoin and Heiting share the team lead in points with 13. 

About the Big Green:
- Dartmouth is coming off a three game weekend against Quinnipiac and Princeton. Dartmouth lost all three games scoring three goals and allowing 15 goals in those games. Sophomore Tiffany Hill leads the team in goals. Juniors CC Bowlby and Currie Putrah are tied atop the team with eight assists. There are five players with 13 points this season. First-year Maggie Emerson has played in 21 games this season posting a 3.37 goals against average and a .890 save percentage. 

Last Time They Played:
- The Dutchwomen were victorious the last time these teams met. Union won 2-1 on December 4. Heiting scores in the game and first-year Ashley Adams added a goal and an assist in the win. First-year Sophie Matsoukas made 39 saves in the game securing her first collegiate win. 

Historically Speaking:
- Union has an all-time record of 4-29-2 against Dartmouth. Union is averaging 1.1 goals against the Big Green. 

About the #7 Crimson: 
- In their last three games #7 Harvard is 1-1-1. The Crimson beat Princeton, lost to Quinnipiac and tied St. Lawrence this past week. Junior Anne Bloomer leads the team in goals with 19 goals this season. Senior Becca Gilmore leads the team in assists with 25 and also lead with 42 points. Senior Becky Dutton has helped in 16 games and posted a 1.99 goals against average and .922 save percentage, Dutton also has three shutouts this season. 

Last Time They Played:
- Harvard beat Union 5-0 on December 3. The Crimson has five players score in the game and Alex Pellicci posted a shut out. 

Historically Speaking:
- Union is 2-33 all-time against Harvard and have scored 0.69 goals on average. 

MAC Goaltender of the Month and Rookie of the Month:
- First year Sophie Matsoukas was named the MAC Goaltender of the Month and Rookie of the Month as she posted a posted a 0.71 goals against average and a .978 save percentage as well as earning her first collegiate shutout and win for the Union College women's hockey team. Matsoukas went 2-0 in two starts and made 91 saves in 93 shots in the month of December. She was also named MAC Goaltender of the week on December 14th. 

Rookie of the Week:
-First-year Maren Friday was named Rookie of the Week on October 4,  following a four point weekend sweep against the Tigers of RIT. Friday has a goal and an assist in both games. Union started the season off 2-0-0. 

Fresh Faces:
- The Union College women's hockey team enters the year with 15 players who have never played a collegiate hockey game. Seven sophomores are returning after not seeing the ice last year because of the pandemic, while eight first-years will played in their first collegiate games for the Dutchwomen in the season opener at RIT.

Captains:
- Cassidy Michalicka was named the captain following serving as an assistant captain in the 2019-20 season for the Dutchwomen. Classmate Grace Heiting was named a captain for the 2021-22 season as well.
