SCHENECTADY, N.Y. – The Union College women's hockey team was shut out, 7-0 by the #10 Clarkson Golden Knights on Saturday afternoon from Messa Rink.

Emily Evans shared time in net, making 40 saves combined in the loss. Matsoukas made 28 saves and Evans 12 in relief.
The Golden Knights found the back of net just 35 second into the game and didn't look back cruising to a 7-0 win. Clarkson scored three times in the first period.
Clarkson added three more goals in the second period and then an empty netter in the third for a 7-0 win.
The Union power-play went 0-3 in the game and were also 0-2 on the penalty kill.
Union will back on the road next weekend as they travel to Dartmouth on Friday, January 20, for an ECAC matchup with the Big Green. Puck drop is set for 6 p.m. from Hanover, N.H.
