HAMILTON, N.Y. – Eight different players found the net as #6 Colgate University dealt Union College women's hockey a 10-0 defeat in ECAC Hockey action on Saturday afternoon at Class of 1965 Arena.
Fourteen different players had at least one point for Colgate (16-2-1, 7-1-0 ECAC Hockey), led by Danielle Serdachny and Kaitlyn O'Donohoe with two goals and two assists apiece. Sydney Bard and Jenna Duarte also chipped in three assists each for the Raiders.
Union (10-10-1, 3-6-1 ECAC Hockey) hung with Colgate for much of the first period, putting 13 shots on the net of Hannah Murphy and generating some quality scoring chances. The home team got on the board first with a power-play goal, then added another 61 seconds later to double the lead. One more tally later in the frame put the Raiders in control.
The floodgates opened in the middle period with four more goals, followed by three tallies – including two on the power-play – in the final frame.

Sophie Matsoukas and first-year
Emily Evans both saw time in net for the second straight game, with Matsoukas allowing six goals on 31 shots and Evans conceding four on 11 attempts. Final shots on goal were 42-22 in favor of the Raiders.
Union will look to put the tough weekend behind them beginning on Friday, when the team returns home for a 6 p.m. faceoff with St. Lawrence University.
