SCHENECTADY, N.Y. – Union College will be celebrating the 10-year anniversary of the 2014 Division I Men's Hockey National Championship on Saturday, July 20, 2024, with multiple events planned in the Capital District.
"We are so excited to be welcoming the entire 2013-14 national championship team back to Schenectady this summer to celebrate their achievements with members of campus and the greater Schenectady community," said Director of Athletics Jim McLaughlin '93. "We look forward to giving them a chance to reconnect with their teammates, fellow alumni and friends of the program, and everyone who cheered them on to incredible success 10 years ago."
On Saturday morning, Union Hockey will be hosting the annual Mort Silver '55 and Garnet Blades Golf Tournament at Eagle Crest Golf Club in Clifton Park. Members of the 2013-14 team will be in attendance at the event, which begins with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. followed by a reception and auction at 1:30 p.m. For more information on the golf outing, including registration links and sponsorship opportunities, visit

Later that afternoon, fans are invited to join Union Athletics for a community celebration of the 2014 national championship victory at Mohawk Harbor just before the start of the annual Harbor Jam event. Highlights from the title game will be shown on a large outdoor screen and several members of the team will be available for autographs, while music and food trucks will help get fans ready for Saturday's Harbor Jam events beginning at 6 p.m. Saturday's event at Mohawk Harbor will be free to the public with first-come seating.
