Lucas Montalto scored the lone goal while classmate
Jacob Perry made nine saves to lead the Union College men's soccer team past Vassar College, 1-0, on Wednesday night at College Park Field.

With a team save off the goal line and two more key stops from Perry in the second half, the Garnet Chargers held on for the 1-0 shutout victory.
Union's back line delivered an outstanding defensive performance, shutting down 23 total shot attempts by Vassar.
The Garnet Chargers continue Liberty League action Saturday, traveling to Rochester Institute of Technology for a 2:00 p.m. kickoff during Union's Homecoming and Family Weekend.
