TROY, N.Y. – Junior
Jack Plesser of the Union College men's basketball team earned weekly honors from the Liberty League and two more student-athletes earned spots on the honor roll for the week ending on November 23, the conference office announced on Monday afternoon.
Men's Basketball Performer of the Week: Jack Plesser
Plesser averaged 29.5 points per game on 57.8 percent shooting and 8.0 rebounds per game in two outings for Union last week. The junior started the week with 26 points and 10 rebounds in just 27 minutes of action against Middlebury, hitting 11-of-21 shots from the field. He then led the Garnet Chargers to a 80-73 win over Plattsburgh State on Saturday with a game-high 33 points, hitting 15-of-24 shots while grabbing six boards and adding three assists and two blocks in 36 minutes. The junior recorded half of the team's 46-point output in the first half against the Cardinals, scoring 23 points as the visitors jumped out to a 16-point halftime edge.

Women's Basketball: Kate Peek
Peek led Union with a game- and career-high 18 points on 6-of-11 shooting as the Garnet Chargers knocked off Middlebury, 82-75, on Saturday. The senior played a game-high 38 minutes and shot 5-of-8 from beyond the arc in the win, including hitting at least one long ball in each period, while also adding two rebounds, an assist and a steal.
Football: Patch Flanagan
Flanagan completed 26-of-34 passes for 300 yards and three touchdowns while also rushing for 41 yards and a score in Union's NCAA Tournament matchup against Muhlenberg, his fourth game with four total touchdowns this season.
