TROY, N.Y. –  Four Union College student-athletes received weekly honors from the Liberty League and five more were recognized with honor roll selections for the week ending on November 2, the conference office announced on Monday afternoon.

Women's Volleyball Player of the Week: Maddie McCarron

The junior put down seven kills on 11 swings (.636) to help Union clinch second place in the conference with a 3-1 win over the Herons to start the day, and then added 13 kills on 22 attempts (.591) with three blocks in a sweep of the Beavers. Adding in two sets of action in Wednesday's sweep of Bard, McCarron hit .489 with 25 kills (2.78 kps) and five blocks in nine sets on the week.

Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week: Eamonn Kelley
Kelly scored his first collegiate goal in the 26th minute to clinch a 1-0 victory in Saturday's regular-season finale at St. Lawrence and secure a home postseason game for the Garnet Chargers.

Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week: Jacob Perry
Perry earns his third recognition of the fall season after stopping all five on-target shots he faced to secure a 1-0 victory in Saturday's regular-season finale at St. Lawrence that earned the Garnet Chargers a home postseason game. The shutout was Perry's sixth of the season and his third in a row, extending his personal shutout streak to 322:14.

Men's Swimming & Diving Rookie of the Week: Troy Luley
Luley picked up a second Rookie of the Week honor in the season's first three meets after earning high-point honors in Union's 150.5-142.5 win over Skidmore by winning all four of his events. Luley swept a trio of individual races, winning the 100 breaststroke (1:00.19), 200 breaststroke (2:09.81), and 200 individual medley (2:02.26). His 200 breaststroke time ranks as the sixth-fastest in program history and tops in the Liberty league so far this season. He also led off the winning 200 medley relay that finished in 1:38.96.

Durivage scored the game-winning goal in the eighth minute as Union closed the regular season with a 4-1 win over Colby-Sawyer on Wednesday.
