ITHACA, N.Y. – The Union College women's indoor track & field team earned 21 points on day two to finish in sixth place at the 2025 Liberty League Indoor Track & Field Championships, held at Ithaca College's Glazer Arena on Friday and Saturday.
Helped by four career-best performances on Saturday, Union finished the weekend with 34 points to sit 23 back of Rochester Institute of Technology in fifth place and nine points clear of St. Lawrence University in seventh.
Sophomore
Ashley Sheldon came a tiebreaker away from earning a second straight conference title in the high jump, as she tied with Ithaca's Madeleine Wright by clearing a season-best 1.64 meters. But because Wright did not miss on any of her previous five heights, she earned top honors after Sheldon missed once at both 1.59m and 1.64m.
