SCHENECTADY, N.Y. – Six members of the Union College women's lacrosse team were honored for their successes in the classroom this season with spots on the IWLCA Division III Academic Honor Roll, announced by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association on Wednesday.  
 
Recent graduate Sarah Murphy '25 was joined on the list by juniors Rosie Crooker, Christina Guanci, Emily Moore, Claudia Patz and Abbi Uhl. To be eligible, student-athletes must be a junior, senior or graduate student and have earned a cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 or higher at the conclusion of the school year.
 
The Garnet Chargers also saw great success on the field in 2015, finishing the season with a 13-4 record and a #24 ranking in the IWLCA Division III national poll, narrowly missing out on the program's first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2015. The team also set a program record with 14 players named to the Liberty League All-Academic Team, far surpassing the previous standard of 11 set in 2020 and 2021.
