Jack Plesser of the Union College men's basketball team earned his fifth weekly Liberty League honor of the season and sophomore
Olivia Cunningham of the women's basketball team was named to the weekly honor roll for the week ending January 18, the conference office announced on Monday afternoon.
Men's Basketball Performer of the Week: Jack Plesser
Plesser averaged 26.0 points and 10.0 rebounds per game in three conference contests last week, shooting 64.1 percent (25 of 39) from the field and 93.3 percent (28 of 30) from the line. He started the week with 30 points, seven boards and three blocks in a win over RIT, hitting 7-of-10 shots from the field and 16-of-18 from the line - the eighth-most made free throws in a Division III game this year - to become the 25th player in program history and only sixth junior to reach 1,000 career points. After going for 18 points and 10 rebounds in just 24 minutes of Friday's win over Bard, the junior had another 30-point effort to go with 13 rebounds on Saturday against Vassar, including a program-record 12-for-12 day at the free-throw line.

Women's Basketball: Olivia Cunningham
Cunningham contributed across the board to Union's 2-1 week, averaging 8.0 points, 11.3 rebounds, 4.7 assists, 3.0 steals and 1.0 blocks per game in three conference contests, while shooitng 46.2 percent from the field. The sophomore led all players with 14 rebounds, five assists and two steals in Tuesday's win over RIT, then had an efficient six points, eight rebounds, five assists and three steals in 20 minutes in a win over Bard on Friday. She followed up with 12 points and 12 caroms with four helpers and four steals on Saturday versus Vassar.
