SCHENECTADY, N.Y. – Union College is holding its annual giving challenge, ADay4U, on Wednesday, April 15 and Thursday, April 16, when students, alumni, friends, parents and staff come together to celebrate and support Union!
 
Gifts to the Department of Athletics on ADay4U help to supplement team budgets and assist in providing the best experience possible for our nearly 600 student-athletes, including upgraded and expanded travel, additional team apparel, supplemental technology equipment, facility enhancements, and more. Gifts to Friends of Union Athletics also help to support the entirety of the Department of Athletics, including Strength & Conditioning, Sports Medicine, Athletic Communications, and more. Current Athletics Challenges/Matches:
Women's Athletics Fund: 50 donors to the Women's Athletics Fund will unlock $5,000 from Kirk '03 and Rosanmi '03 Campbell.
Baseball: 90 donors to the baseball team will unlock $4,400 from John Busterud '76.
Women's Basketball: 75 donors to the women's basketball team will unlock $500 from Lauren McCormick '11.
Men's and Women's Cross Country: All gifts to the cross country teams will be matched (up to $3,000) by a Union cross country family.
Men's and Women's Crew: All gifts to the men's and women's crew teams will be matched (up to $5,000) by Peter Schwab '93.
Field Hockey: 25 alumnae donors from the last 25 years (2000-25) to the field hockey team will unlock $5,000 from Patty Donaldson '92, HOF Team '25.
Field Hockey: The first $1,000 in gifts to the field hockey team from parents will be matched by the Parker/Taylor P'28 Family.
Football: 100 donors to the football team will unlock $2,000 from Scott Newton '95.
Football: 150 donors to the football team will unlock $5,000 from Mike Newell '74 and Jeremy Newell '00.
Football: 200 donors to the football team will unlock $10,000 from Doug Horan '67.
Football: 250 donors to the football team will unlock $10,000 from Keith '95 and Nicole '94 Lombardo.
Football: The first $10,000 in gifts to the football team will be matched by Trustee and former Board Chair Robert '85 and Julianne Bertagna.
Football: All gifts to the football team will be matched (up to $35,000) from Trustee Bill '71 and Pamela Wicker P'12 P'20.
Men's Hockey: In memory of his classmates and fraternity brothers, Dr. Leslie Bernstein '55 and Dr. Benjamin Sadock '55, all gifts to the men's hockey team will be matched (up to $55,000) by Mort Silver '55.
Women's Hockey: All gifts to the women's hockey team will be matched 2:1 (up to $30,000) by a Union hockey family.
Women's Hockey: 130 donors to the women's hockey team will unlock $10,000 from Friends of Union Women's Hockey.
Men's Lacrosse: 200 donors to the men's lacrosse team will unlock $13,000 from a Union Lacrosse family.
Men's Lacrosse: All gifts to the men's lacrosse team will be matched (up to $10,000) by the Koch P'25 Family.
Women's Lacrosse: 100 donors to the women's lacrosse team will unlock $1,000 from Keri (Messa) Foley '08.
Men's Soccer: All gifts to the men's soccer team will be matched (up to $5,000) by a Union Soccer family.
Men's Soccer: 100 donors to the men's soccer team will unlock $1,000 from Doug Wilk '87.
Men's Soccer: 150 donors to the men's soccer team will unlock $2,500 from Bobby Syed '03.
Men's Soccer: 200 donors to the men's soccer team will unlock $2,000 from head coach John Ciano.
Women's Soccer: 120 donors to the women's soccer team will unlock $5,000 from a Union Soccer family. 
Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving: All gifts to the swimming and diving teams will be matched (up to $1,500) from a UCSD family.
Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving: 100 donors to the swimming and diving teams will unlock $1,500 from a UCSD '29 family.
Men's and Women's Tennis: 25 donors to the tennis teams will unlock $500 from Dmitri Konon '94.
Men's and Women's Tennis: 50 donors to the tennis teams will unlock $5,000 from Friends of Union Tennis.
Men's and Women's Track & Field: 50 donors to the track & field teams will unlock $1,000 from former head coach Dave Riggi '97.
Men's and Women's Track & Field: 140 donors to the track & field teams will unlock $5,000 from Christopher Strohsahl '01.
