Â
Union took only 15 shots for the remainder of the game after its opening-quarter blitz, but the visitors firmly stayed in control thanks to eight unanswered tallies in the second and third quarters. Joseph, Schiller and sophomore
Stella Del Papa netted the team's three second-stanza scores, while two each from Joseph and senior
Christina Guanci were followed by one from first-year
Sami Bonasia to round out the third period.

Â
Union finished the day with a 35-16 edge in shots, with senior
Sydney Widlitz needing to make only four saves over the first 48:25 to earn the win.
Â
Union will face a much tougher task tomorrow, when the Garnet Chargers battle for first place in the conference #7 William Smith College beginning at 3 p.m. in Geneva.
