CLINTON, N.Y. – The Union College women's tennis team dropped a 7-0 match to Hamilton College in the squad's first dual match of the 2026-27 season, held on Saturday morning at the Tietje Family Tennis Center.
Playing with four collegiate newcomers in the lineup, Union (0-1) battled against a Hamilton (1-0) squad that finished last season ranked top-50 in the ITA national rankings.

Loden Bradstreet waged a hard battle with Muhan Cui at the top flight, coming two points short in a first-set tiebreaker and then coming one break short in the second set of a 7-6 (8-6), 6-4 loss. Sophomore
Jenny Park also finished one break short in the first set of her 7-5, 6-3 third-singles match with Mona Farah.
Union will be back on the courts on Wednesday evening, when the team begins Liberty League play against Bard College beginning at 6 p.m. at the Union Tennis Courts.
