Played for the Fort McMurray Oil Barons of the Alberta Junior Hockey League under head coach Gord Thibodeau • Put up 80 points on eight goals and 72 assists in 101 games • Named the Oil Barons Top Rookie in the 2003-04 season • The Oil Barons won the Viking Cup Championship and the AJHL Championship in 2005-06 • Was the top scorer for the J. Ennis Kings in 2002-03 and was named the AMHL Top Defenseman.
