2011-12: During this season, Mooney won the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 54.46 seconds and was a part of the squad that took first place in the 200-yard free with a time of 1:30.59 against RPI...
2010-11: During this season, Mooney was a prt of the 200 Medley Relay Team at States which placed 4th with a time of 1:35.52, 6th with the 200 Free relay team with a time of 1:27.02, 5th in the 100 back stroke with a time of 52.83 and 4th in the 200 backstroke with a time of 1:54.20.
2009: Placed second in the 200 backstroke to teammate Brian Scarlett with a time of 2:04.21 in Hartwick meet...On the winning 200 Freestyle that posted a 1:29.87 finish against Williams...Second in the 100 backstroke to Scarlett with a time of 55.57
Prior to Union: Wellesley HS 200 Freestyle Record holder...His older sister, Brinley Mooney '03, dove for Union...His favorite sports stars are Michael Phelps and Jonathan Papelbon.
