The men's swimming and diving team is one of the most decorated programs in Union College's history, with a long and successful history dating back to 1921. The program had one of the longest runs of sustained national excellence of any Union sport in the mid-1990s, when the team posted five straight top-seven finishes at the NCAA Championships and won three individual national titles.
