2012-2013: Herzog placed second in the 200-yard freestyle relay with a time of 1:28.77 (*PR, Jan. 19)...Placed 3rd in the 1000 free with a time of 10:05.88 (*PR) in the dual meet against Ithaca College (Feb 2) ...Placed 3rd in the 500 free with a time of 4:36.12 (*PR) and placed 4th overall in the 1650 with a time of 16:07.83 (*PR). Herzog was also a part of the 800 free relay team that placed 5th overall at the UNYSCSA Championship Meet (Feb 20-22)...Named to the 2012-2013 Liberty League All-Academic team...Named to Capital One All District First Team.... Named to the UNSYCSA Academic Team... Was named to the Union College Dean's List for his academic performance during the 2012-13 academic year.

2011-12: Received the Union College Sophmore Scholar Athlete of the Year Award as well as the Academic All American Award. Herzog won the 1000 and 500 freestyle with times of 10:15.68 and 4:56.44, respectively against Rochester...won the 500-yard freestlye with a time of 4:56.45 and the 1000-yard free with a time of 10:08.38 against Hamilton...won the 1000-yard free with a time of 10:09.54 and the 500-yard free with a time of 4:56.08 against Middlebury... Was named to the Union College Dean's List for his academic performance during the 2011-12 academic year.

2010-11: During this season, Herzog was named Liberty League Rookie of the Year, twice named Rookie of the Week and 3 times named Co-Rookie of the Week... At Hamilton on January 29 he won the 1000 free with a time of 10:12.26... At States he placed 9th in the 500 free with a time of 4:42.46, 6th with the 800 relay team with a time of 7:04.98, and 3rd in the 1650 free with a time of 16:15.29... Was named the Union College Freshman Scholar Athlete of the Year... Was named to the Union College Dean's List for his academic performance during the 2010-11 academic year.

Prior to Union: Graduated from Northport High School in 2010. 

Personal: Born March 27, 1992... Son of Faith and Joseph... Is a member of Tau Beta Pi and Pi Tau Sigma.
