2010-11: During this season, Sorensen placed 3rd at States in the 400 IM with a time of 4:14.71.

2009: Placed first in the 200 IM against Ithaca with a time of 2:03.47.. Earned Liberty League Co-Rookie of the Week honors for that effort

Prior to Union: David was the senior captain at Horace Greeley
