Born April 1, 1981... Shoots right... A 1991 graduate of Chatham-Kent Secondary School... Was named an Ontario Scholar in high school... Majoring in Mechanical Engineering at Union... Nickname is Soupy... Parents are Harvey and Avaline Campbell.

 
Sophomore Season (2003-04)
Played in 35 of 36 games for Union... All 10 points came on assists... Finished second among defensemen in assists and tied for second on the team among defensemen in points... Campbell was second among sophomores in assists... Seven of his assists came on the power play... Registered a two-game point streak twice during the season... First point of the season came at Bowling Green on October 24th... Registered first league point of the season at St. Lawrence on November 7th... Tallied a point in each game against Cornell on January 16th and February 21st... Appeared in both home playoff games against Clarkson... Played in 21 of 22 league games where he registered eight assists, seven of which were on the power play.
 
Freshman Season (2002-03)
Played in 31 of 36 games as a freshman... Finished with six assists... Five of Campbell’s six points came on the power play... Was second among freshman and fifth among defensement in points... Made first collegiate appearance against Providence on October 11th... Registered first point at Merrimack on October 12th... Put up first league point at home against St. Lawrence on November 8th... Recorded a point in each game against Colgate on January 18th and February 21st... Campbell made his first league playoff appeance against Rensselaer on March 7th... Before Union
Played five seasons for the Chatham Maroons of the Western Ontario Junior B Hockey League under head coach Dave Torrie... During that time Campbell played in 236 games and recorded 220 points on 56 goals and 164 assists... Chatham compiled an overall record of 210-54-1 and won the league championship four years in a row beginning with the 1997-98 season... Campbell helped lead his team to the 1999 Sutherland Cup as the Western Ontario Jr. B Provincial Champions... The Maroons finished with a 36-1-6 record that season... In 2001-02 Campbell put up a career-best 58 points and 48 assists... Scored a career-high 18 goals in 1999-00... He was recognized as the league’s top defenseman and named to the all-star team his final two seasons as he scored 112 points in 84 games on 24 goals and 88 assists... Campbell finished with a combined +/- of +90 during that time.
