Biography
2013-2014: Named Men's Team Captain for the 2013-2014 season. Came top 8 in the 400 IM(4.14.82), top 16 in the 200IM (1.56.77) and had a very memorable 200 FLY in which he placed top 20. Leadership and dedication helped lead the Men's team to an overall top 3 finish at the UNYSCSA Championship meet.
2012-2013: Swam in four relays at this years in which the 600-medley won the event with Wood anchoring the relay in a time of 2:07.92...In a dual meet versus Rochester (Nov.10), David finished third in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 2:10.06...Participated in the 200-yard freestyle relay that placed third with a time of 1:31.67 against Amherst (Dec. 5)... Competed in the 200 IM going a time of 2:01.53, the 400 IM going a time of 4:18.41 and the 200 fly with a time of 1:59.88 at the UNYSCSA Championship Meet at Ithaca College (Feb. 20-23)
Prior to Union: A 2010 graduate of South Burlington High School.
Personal: Born on November 9, 1992... Son of Larry and Marie Wood.
