Union was a perfect fit for me. It was and still is a school with impressive academics as well as a remarkable hockey team and family. Based on those two criteria, the decision I made was less of a choice and more of a "Where do I sign?"
Honors and Awards:
- ECAC Hockey Rookie of the Month (12/16)
- ECAC Hockey All-Academic Team (2017-18)

2017-18: Appeared 36 of 38 games as a junior ... scored 10 goals with 20 assists for 30 points to rank third on the team in scoring ... tied for the team lead with five game-winning goals ... registered a goal and two assists for a season-high three points in a win over Rensselaer (10/27) ... netted the game-winner in overtime to beat Princeton (11/10) ... had three straight multi-point games with one-goal, one-assist outings against Rensselaer (1/27), Cornell (2/2) and Colgate (2/3), scoring the game-winner against the Engineers and Raiders.

2016-17: Produced a career-high 14 goals and 27 assists … ranked third on the team in scoring, fourth in goals,  assists, and game-winning goals (3),  fifth in power-play goals (4) and sixth in plus-minus (+12) … registered at least one point in 26 games … contributed 13 multi-point games … generated 12 points (3G-9A) in a career-best nine-game point streak (2/4-3/11) … also had a five-game (10/14-10/28), four-game (11/1-11/11), and a three-game point streak (1/5-1/13) … registered a career-high four points (1G-3A) in a 5-2 win against Niagara, finishing as a career-best +4 and scoring the game-winning goal (10/22) … assisted on game-winning goals against Michigan (10/7), Yale (11/4), Dartmouth (1/13), and Princeton (2/18) … registered at least one point in 10 of the final 11 games of the season … appeared in 35 games.

2015-16: Ranked second among the team’s rookies with six goals and 10 points … recorded first career point with an assist in a 5-3 win against #3 Boston University (10/10) … tallied first career goal in a 4-4 tie against #8 Harvard (12/4) … registered an assist in a 3-0 win against Dartmouth (12/5) … netted overtime winner with nine seconds remaining at Massachusetts (12/11), producing first career multi-point game (1-1) and extending his point streak to three games … ECAC Hockey Rookie of the Month (December) ...  was a career-best +3 against Robert Morris (1/3) ... recorded first career two-goal game and first career power-play tally in a 4-4 tie at Princeton (1/8) … contributed a goal and a helper against #8 Cornell (1/16), assisting on the game-tying goal … second on the team with a +4 rating … appeared in 27 games.

Juniors: Spent his last season with the Lone Star Brahmas, collecting 35 goals and 45 assists for 80 points in 58 games ... named the NAHL’s Most Valuable Player and NAHL Forward of the Year after leading the league in goals and points ... notched a league-best 11 game-winning goals and paced all forwards with a +37 plus/minus rating ... chosen to the All-NAHL Team ... finished with 105 career points in 100 games with the Brahmas ... graduated from Malmo Borgarskola (2013).

Personal: Son of Nina and Dragan Matic Vidmar ... is the first Sweden native to skate for Union.
