A.J. Palkovich
Born February 11, 1983... Shoots left... Earned Dean’s List honors in 1999 and 2000 at the Portledge School... Majoring in Economics at Union... Parents are Thomas and Linda Palkovich.

Junior Season (2004-05)
Limited to 25 games due to injury... Recorded five points on two goals and three assists... Slated as one of the top penalty killers on the team... Prior to being sidelined Palkovich was off to the best start of his career with two goals and two assists in 12 games... Assisted on the game-winning goal against ECACHL opponent St. Lawrence on November 5th that began a seven-game unbeaten streak and six-game league winning streak for the Dutchmen... First goal of the season proved to be the game-winner at home against league foe Clarkson on November 6th... Registered two points on one goal and one assist at Yale on November 20th... Assisted on Union’s goal at home against Cornell on January 14th for his first point after coming back from injury... Appeared in 17 ECACHL games... Recorded all of his points in league play. 
 
Sophomore Season (2003-04)
One of six players to play in all 36 games... Scored five goals on the season to finish fourth among sophomores... Scored his first goal of the season against New Hampshire on October 31st... Scored two of Union’s three goals against UMass-Lowell in the consolation game of the Badger Showdown in Madison, Wisconsin on December 28th... Scored the second goal of the game in Union’s 3-0 win against Cornell on February 21st.
 
Freshman Season (2002-03)
Played in 20 games... Scored first collegiate goal in first game as a Dutchmen in a 4-4 tie with Merrimack on October 12th... Picked up an assist and a goal in back-to-back games at Northeastern on December 14th and at Minnesota-Duluth on December 28th... First ECACHL point came on an assist in a 4-1 victory vs. Colgate on January 18th.
 
Before Union
Played in 82 games for the New York Applecore under coach Henry Lazar... The Applecore were the 2001-2002 EJHL Runners up... Recorded 69 points (35-34-69) for the Applecore.
