Was assistant captain of the Yorkton Terriers of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League under head coach Ed Zawatsky • Led the team in scoring with 47 points, including 13 goals and 47 points • Named First Team SJHL All-Star • Awarded the Kruger Mantyka Award, which is presented to the SJHL player who demonstrates proficiency in hockey as well as maintaining above average academic standing • Top regular season scorer • Named Guy Lamb Memorial MVP • Named 2008-09 most valuable defenseman • In 2007-08 led team with 27 wins and was named Jaime Standish Memorial "Mr. Personality" • In 2006-07, selected Most Valuable Defenseman and First Round Playoff MVP.
