Kris Mayotte
Born February 20, 1983... Catches left... Played soccer at Pittsburgh Central Catholic... Majoring in Psychology at Union... Parents are Len Mayotte and Jan Yaremiko.

Junior Season (2004-05)
Started in 19 of the 21 games he played... Recorded a 8-10-1 overall record... Put up a 3.34 goals against average and a .891 save percentage... Accumulated 1186:09 minutes between the pipes... Started the first two games of the season against Colorado College on October 15th & 16th... In game one against the Tigers Mayotte came up with 39 stops before making 33 stops in the second game... Made 25 or more saves in 12 games on the season... Recorded 30 or more saves in seven games, including a season-high 42 against St. Lawrence in the ECACHL opener on November 5th... Made 26 saves at Connecticut on January 2nd to help the Dutchmen to their first shutout of the season... Mayotte made 32 saves at home against Dartmouth on January 8th for his first shutout of the year and third all-time against the Big Green... Stopped 37 shots at Colgate on February 18th... Started 12 of 14 league games and posted a 5-7-0 record... He logged 763:14 minutes in goal with a 3.62 goals against average and a .886 save percentage... Made 25 or more saves in eight league games and 30 or more saves in four games.
 
Sophomore Season (2003-04)
Started all 32 games he played in for Union... Earned an 11-16-5 record... Recorded a 2.69 goals against average and a .903 save percentage... Logged 1898:37 minutes in goal... Played in six overtime games (1-0-5)... Earned his first win of the season in a 3-1 win against Merrimack... Made a season-high 47 saves against Harvard on January 2nd... Made 43 saves against Minnesota-Duluth on November 21st... Went 4-2-5 in games where he registered 30 or more saves... Had two shutouts on the season... Made 35 saves against Dartmouth on January 31st in a 7-0 win, making it the second straight time Mayotte has shutout the Big Green on the road... Followed that up with a 28-save effort in a 3-0 shutout against Cornell on February 21st... Had two assists on the season... Mayotte’s first helper came against Vermont on November 15th... Recorded his second assist against Cornell on February 21st... Started in all 22 league games for the second straight season... Posted an 8-11-3 record... Logged 1330:41 minutes in league play... Freshman Season (2002-03)
Played in 26 games, starting 24... Named to the ECAC All-Rookie Team... Made first collegiate start and picked up first victory as a Dutchmen on October 18th vs. Niagara... Started the final 12 games of the season, including two postseason games... Posted first collegiate shutout in an 8-0 victory over UConn on November 24th... Earned first ECAC shutout with a 2-0 victory at Dartmouth on January 24th... Became first Union goalie to start in all 22 ECACHL games... Recorded eight of the team’s 10 victories in ECACHL play... Made 58 saves on 63 shots against Bemidji on October 26th... Finished the season with a 2.73 goals against average and a .905 save percentage.
 
Before Union
Played for the Sioux City Musketeers under coach Dave Siciliano... Helped lead the Musketeers to the USHL Clark Cup Championship... Played in 28 games and posted a 2.57 goals against average and recorded a .910 save percentage... Played hockey for three seasons at Pittsburgh Central Catholic High School under head coach Kevin Zielmanski... Mayotte helped the Vikings earn a second place finish in the State Championship as a freshman and a fourth place finish as a sophomore.
