Biography
2014-2015: Came in 14th in 100 yard backstroke (57.84) and 15th in the 200 yard backstroke (2:05.16) at the Liberty League Championships...Swam season best times of 53.63 in the 100 yard backstroke (15th place) and 1:57.33 in the 200 yard backstroke (14th place) at the UNYSCA Championships.
2013-2014: Participated in the 2013-2014 season and helped the Men's Team earn a third place overall finish at the UNYSCA Championship Meet. Placed top 16 in the 200 back with the time of 1.58.67...Awarded the Calvin G. Schmidt '51 Prize.
2012-2013: Swam in four relays in which the 300-yard backstroke won the even with a split time of 55.76 at the Union Relays (Oct. 27)....Competed in the 200 IM going a time of 2:06.67, the 100 back with a time of 54.97 and the 200 back going a personal best of 1:57.84 at the UNYSCSA Championship Meet at Ithaca College (Feb 20-23)...9th All-Time in 200 Backstroke... Top 16 in 200 Backstroke at States
Prior To Union: Ben was an All-Conference swimmer his Sophomore, Junior and Senior year at Simsbury High School.
