Union College Athletics

Michelle Patrick will be joining Union Head Coach Scott Felix as Assistant Swimming Coach for the 2013-2014 season.

Patrick joins Union after two seasons assisting with Norwich University’s Swimming and Diving Team. At Norwich, she coordinated and facilitated recruiting while assisting with on-deck coaching and various aspects of team management. She helped lead the Norwich men’s team to two consecutive GNAC invitational championships in 2011 and 2012.

Patrick graduated from the University of Vermont in 2011 with a degree in Secondary Education while participating with the UVM Swimming and Diving Team for four years. In her freshman year she was a member of the record breaking 200 medley relay, and was named captain her senior year. Patrick earned a place on the America East Commissioner’s Honor Roll in 2008, 2009, and 2011.

Originally from Jericho, Vermont, Patrick coached with Green Mountain Aquatics and The Knights Swim Team from 2006-2011. She swam for Green Mountain Aquatics from 2001 to 2007 under Laura Matuszak, where she was a team captain for two seasons.

She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in public administration.
