Born on July 18, 1982... Shoots left... Made the honor roll all four years of high school... Played volleyball in high school... Majoring in psychology... Parents are Allan and Barbara Streich.
 
2005-06
Served as co-captain... Played in 36 games... Ranked third among defenders with eight points on seven assists and a goal... Had a career-high two assists in a 6-2 win against Princeton on 11/11... Scored the game-winning goal in overtime at Princeton on 2/18... Assisted on goals that forced overtime with Yale in the first round of the ECACHL Playoffs on 3/3 and 3/4... Had assists against Bentley (10/28), Wayne State (11/25) and Yale (2/11)... Named to the ECACHL All-Academic Team for the second straight year.
 
2004-05
One of three players to participate in all 37 games... Finished third among defenders with five points on a goal and four assists... Named to the ECACHL All-Academic Team... Scored his first collegiate goal against St. Lawrence on 1/22... Registered an assist against Colorado College on 10/16 for his first point of the season... Assisted on the game-tying goal against Mercyhurst on 10/29 and the game-winning goal against Yale on 11/20... Also had an assist against Princeton on 11/19... Put up one goal and two assists for three points in ECACHL play.
 
2003-04
One of only two freshmen to play in all 36 games... Named Rookie of the Year by his teammates... Finished second among freshman defenders with three assists... His first collegiate assist came on the game-winning goal against American International on 11/19... Also had an assist against Harvard on 1/2 and Rensselaer on 1/10.
 
Before Union
Played in a total of 151 games for the Langley Hornets of the British Columbia Junior Hockey League... Appeared in 53 games for Langley during the 2000-01 season... Recorded three goals and 16 assists for 19 points with the Hornets... During the 2001-02 season he recorded six goals and 33 assists for 39 points in 57 games for the Hornets... In 2002-03 he played in 41 games and put up 27 points on five goals and 22 assists... Selected as the team’s top defenseman for the 2002-03 season... Named to the 2002 Viking Cup All- Tournament Team.
