SCHENECTADY, NY -- Hamilton won two of the three doubles matches to defeat Union, 4-3 in a men's tennis match between two Liberty League schools Wednesday. Union fell to 4-3 on the season while the Continentals improved to 4-7. Union sophomore Jason Leibowicz (Chappaqua, NY/Horace Greeley) won in both singles and in doubles for the Dutchmen.
Hamilton freshman Mark Segal (Clarence, NY/Park School of Buffalo) posted a 6-4, 6-4 straight sets win in #6 singles, and teamed with fellow freshman Jared Friedberg (New York, NY/The Dwight School) for an 8-5 doubles victory.
The Dutchmen will make up a home match with Clarkson Friday, April 21 at 4 p.m.
