SCHENECTADY, NY – The Clarkson Golden Knights scored two goals, including a power-play tally, to jump out to a 2-0 first period lead on theri way to a 4-0 defeat of the Union College Dutchwomen Saturday afternoon in women's ECACHL action. Junior defensemen Brooke Beazer led the charge for the Golden Knights by assisting on three goals including both first period goals. Freshman forward Genevieve Lavoie also added two goals in the contest for the Golden Knights.
Clarkson closes out the regular season with a 18-13-3 overall record and a 10-10-2 ECACHL. The Dutchwomen's season comes to a close with a 4-26-0 overall record and a 0-22-0 ECACHL record.
Seven Dutchwomen played their last game in the Garnet and White. The group of seniors is the first class to play all four seasons at the Division I level for Union College.

Katelyn Aitchenson (Stratford, Ontario) finishes her career with the Dutchwomen with a goal and 13 assists. Goaltender
Mandy Hanson (Brainerd, MN) set the school mark for starts, saves and minutes for a goaltender at Union and holds the only league victory in the Dutchwomen's ECACHL history.
Meghan O'Connor (Portsmouth, RI) appeared in every game for the Dutchwomen this season and finishes her career with 18 goals and 17 assists. Assistant Captain
Carli McNeil (Burlington, WI registered her first career goal last year at Boston University. Defender
Molly Garrett (Ridgley, Maryland) picked up her first collegiate goal earlier this season against Boston University and finishes her career at Union with 13 assists.
Elise Nichols (Pittsfield, MA), finishes her career as the school's all-time Division I scoring leader. Nichols scored 12 times this season to add to her career 68 points.
