SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY -- The Skidmore College men's tennis team defeated Union College today in every match played in singles and doubles competition Wednesday afternoon at Skidmore College.
Freshman Carl-Eric Girardin made another impressive showing at the number one singles spot when he beat Union's Trey Mitner (Bronxville, NY), 6-3, 4-6, 10-6. Jeremy Hogan was perfect from the number two spot as he blanked Alex Katz 6-1, 6-4. Girardin and senior Jared Karlebach won at number one doubles.
Union competes at Oneonta on September 24.
