TROY, NY -- Diver Molly Freeman (Barrington, IL) and swimmers Sara Callahan (Shelton, CT) and Christa White (Washington, DC) were multiple winners for Union in a 158-84 triumph at RPI Friday night.
Freeman, who has won three straight Liberty League Diver of the Week awards, won both the one meter dive wtih 255.98 points and took first in the three meter at 238.65.
Callahan won the 1000 freestyle with a time of 10:44.45, and also took first in the 500 free, clocking at 10:44.45. White triumphed in the 50 free at 25.61, and was the winner of the 100 free at 55.68.
Other Dutchwomen winners included Mary Kate Baumann (Armonk, NY) in the 200 free at 1:59.78 and Kirstin Burdett (Bristol, RI) in the 200 IM (2:13.84). Ashley Braniecki (Cheektowaga, NY) was the winner in the 100 fly at 1:01.81 and Amy Nestlerode (Endicott, NY) took the 100 back at 1:00.69.
The Dutchwomen's 200 medley relay team won with at ime of 1:54.78, featuring Braniecki, Burdett, Andrea Marois (Queensbury, NY) and Maria Prendergast (Niskayuna, NY).
Union will host Amherst on Thursday, January 24 at 6 p.m. It will be the first time the Dutchwomen are home since winning the Liberty League title on November 30 and December 1.
