SCHENECTADY, NY -- Junior Kevin Kewin (Brockport, NY) and sophomore Steve Schapp (Torrington, CT) each won multiple events for the Union men's swimming & diving team Thursday night, but the Dutchmen lost to Amherst, 147-94 in the Alumni Gym Pool.

Kewin was the victor in the 400 individual medley with a time of 4:17.04, and also won the 200 backstroke. He took that event at 1:59.90.

Schapp touched at 16:35.21 to take the top spot in the 1650 free. He also won the 500 free, clocking at 4:57.20. Lucas Tiziani (Seekonk, MA) also won for Union. The freshman had a time of 2:00.10 to take first place in the 200 fly.

Union is right back in action this Saturday, as the Dutchmen compete at Middlebury. The final home meet is February 2 vs. Hamilton at 2 p.m.
